Mid-South Employer Resource Network (MSERN) is an employer-based program composed of small to mid-sized businesses or employers to provide job retention services, help employees overcome barriers, and offer work supports and other opportunities for employees to help them succeed at work and at home.
MSERN seeks to impact members by providing a cost-effective employee benefit that generates tangible and meaningful results. Our innovative model for providing on-site Success Coach services, partnering with outstanding businesses, organizations, agencies—all while documenting efforts and results—constitutes a private–public sector partnership that is positively influencing the local workforce.

At MSERN, a Success Coach helps employees identify goals and develop actionable plans to overcome obstacles and achieve success. Success Coaching is aimed to help employees meet their goals on their personal and career journeys by guiding them in the right direction.
Common success coaching topics consist of: Career advancement, housing, financial literacy, crisis management, transportation, improving habits, family, attendance & accountability, professionalism & emotional intelligence.
